This past year has been full of exciting events and wonderful clients that we are truly honored to have had the opportunity to be involved with. Large capacity corporate meetings, lavish weddings, and holiday celebrations are just a few of the types of occasions our team has participated in planning, designing, and installing. Some of our personal favorite tented events are shared below.
1. A Fully Furnished Maxibeam Structure Tent
Event: Employee Appreciation
Location: Lake Tahoe, NV
Description: A large 120′ x 260′ white maxibeam structure tent with solid white sidewalls and clear glass double doors was installed to house over 1,000 attendees. The weekend-long festivities started off with a presentation honoring the employees for their hard work throughout the year. The event space was then changed over to provide seated dining to continue the celebration.
2. A Beautifully Whimsical Wedding
Event: Wedding
Location: Private residence, Los Altos Hills, CA
Description: Both the ceremony and reception took place at a private residence covered with lush green grass and shady trees. White resin chairs lined the grass leading up to the wine barrel altar framed with sheer sand fabric. The reception area held a 50 x 90 frame tent lending a whimsical, yet rustic feel, with swags of voile fabric in sand coloring accenting the tent ceiling liner. From the ceiling hangs chandeliers of various styles and sizes while Harvest tables and Crossback Hickory Chairs are set up around an Oak Parquet dance floor.

3. An Employee Meeting With a View
Event: Employee Meeting
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Description: For a company looking to accommodate their many employees for a meeting, a 50′ x 210′ white canopy was erected on the top floor of the building’s parking garage. The tent had 12′ x 20′ solid white sidewalls and was furnished with air conditioning, staging, and 900 white Samsonite chairs. This large-scale employee meeting included presentations, screen viewings, and a luncheon outdoors in the parking lot below.
4. A Colorful Reunion
Event: College Reunion
Location: Stanford, CA
Description: Stanford Alumni gathered together to celebrate their ten year reunion under a 120’x260′ legend pole tent with cathedral-style sidewalls. Guests entered through clear glass double doors and into a 40’x60′ frame tent for registration. Many lighting features went into the design of this event. Uplights lit up the white sidewalls while a gobo leaf pattern washed over the ceiling. A custom gobo ‘04’ shined brightly against the tent ceiling, honoring the alumni in attendance. Party rentals such as lighted bars, cocktail tables, and and while lounge furniture allowed guests to enjoy the evening.

5. A Whimsical White Wedding
Event: Wedding
Location: Quail Hollow Ranch, Felton, CA
Description: MIRA Events & Design took full advantage of our many upscale rentals for this wedding in Felton, CA. Great weather allowed for a partially draped custom frame tent with an elegant chandelier hanging from the center to create a beautiful focal point surrounding the dance floor. Our white lounge furniture framed the perimeter of the dance floor for guests to sit. Juliet linen added a touch of romance to this area.
6: Calling All Yoga Enthusiasts
Event: Wanderlust Yoga Festival
Location: Olympic Valley, CA
Description: Wanderlust Yoga Squaw Valley is an annual event where yoga enthusiasts gather as a community for several days at the scenic Squaw Valley. It is a fun-filled 4 day yoga, music, and outdoor adventure event. A number of diverse instructors taught yoga under our Saddlespan tent which provided adequate shade while allowing for a very open-air environment. Many other tent rentals included an 80×160 Mid-beam Structure, 40×40 Hi-Peak Hexagon Tent, and numerous other Frame tents which were installed throughout the entire area.
