Being in the event industry is so great because I get to see a lot of different venues. Just recently, I was at an install for one of our tents in this big backyard with huge lawn areas, a rock fountain, pagodas scattered throughout.. and even a koi pond!
The ceremony took place under this 30 x 80 tent with a red carpet aisle runner, a stage covered with red astroturf, and white samsonite folding chairs.
After the ceremony, the guests all enjoyed cocktail hour throughout the backyard. We set up some small canopies to provide some shade for the food stations on the lawn area.
There were some tables scattered throughout the lower level of the backyard that you needed to climb some stairs to get down to. One of the guys went down to scatter rose petals on the cocktail tables, and when he came back, he was all sweating and out of breath!
Needless to say, the guests not only enjoyed some delicious food while celebrating with the bride and groom, but they were also able to get in some good exercise that weekend.
