When most people envision a holiday party, they see reds paired with greens, snowmen and reindeer, poinsettias and wreaths. These classic holiday components are universally beloved, but maybe this year you’re looking to step outside the box of conventional decorating. We’re sharing a few holiday event designs that will broaden your holiday planning horizons.
Snowflake Fantasy:
Feeling that the red and green plaid theme is a little played out? Maybe this year’s chilly weather calls for an icy snowflake theme. Inspire Productions’ event, pictured below, showcased blue, white, and silver décor, achieving an elegant and wintery atmosphere. A frame tent with royal blue and steel-colored swagging matched the royal blue and crushed iridescent steel linens covering the tables. Centerpieces with battery-operated blue lights and gorgeous white flowers glowed vibrantly as they lay upon round tables, surrounded by white resin chairs.
The unique and beautiful shape of the snowflake was utilized in various areas of the party, from centerpieces to wall décor. The consistent appearance of the snowflake provided a cohesive theme, as well as an ode to the holiday season.
Warm With Chocolate:
The combination of chocolate, red, and gold create a bold yet inviting statement. At last year’s Stuart Rental Christmas party, these three colors took center stage in terms of decorating palette. Red and chocolate Lamour pipe and drape alternated dramatically while enclosing the venue.
Chocolate tablecloths and red linen napkins covered multiple round tables, along with simple glassware.
Gold Chiavari chairs and gold lacquer chargers provided gleaming accents of gold. Atop the gold chargers, centerpieces of small gifts and ornaments were displayed.
The event incorporated bold colors, fun centerpieces, and elegant details, for a unique and striking look.
All That Glitters:
If you’re looking for some bright and vividly-colored inspiration for this year’s holiday gathering, this design is for you. There’s no reason to hesitate about branching out from the usual color schemes, which is what Sharon Yap of Sharon Yap Design did in this unique table setting. In our showroom, silver Hobnail chargers and Soma glassware were paired with turquoise Lamour linen napkins and glittering turquoise and purple centerpieces.
The centerpieces incorporated shining silver branches, matching the chargers and silver Chiavari chairs.
A few pops of color, unconventional tableware, and original centerpieces formed a modern and unforgettable tablescape.
The holidays are a time of cherished traditions, but don’t forget to color in your celebration designs with your own personal style.
