The official beginning of spring is upon us, although the sunshine could have had us believing it’s been spring since January, and there are so many ways to celebrate the coming of a new season. Spring is all about embracing vibrant colors, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, and being in the company of loved ones. Today we’re sharing just a few examples of Spring-inspired event designs, to get you started on your own plans.
Take it outside:
The days are longer and the weather is warmer, so set up your event outdoors, whether it’s your own backyard or an outdoor venue. A long rectangle table or harvest table with chairs or sturdy benches can provide an enjoyable and convenient setting.

Get colorful:
There are no “right” colors for spring, but traditional palettes are a variety of pastels and bright, warm shades. Mix purples with seafoam green, or a vivid orange with pale blue.
Setting the table:
Go simple on your tableware and all out with your centerpieces. If you prefer to focus color on one component of your design, consider using neutral china and glassware, then create a dynamic floral centerpiece.
Succulents are fair game as well and add a great textural component to centerpieces.

Keep the meal light:
Warmer weather usually coincides with lighter appetites. By having a buffet table with various small bites provided, guests can help themselves to as little or as much as they would like to eat throughout the event. Don’t forget to keep everyone hydrated with plenty of beverages!
