Just imagine walking a few feet out your front door, and instead of hopping in to your car and driving 30 minutes to an hour to get to the beach, it is actually right in front of your eyes. Our client gave us the challenging task of transforming their Bay Area property into a South Beach resort. And of course, The Stuart Rental Company rose to the challenge.
Truck loads of sand were brought in to cover the walkway and tennis court area to transform the estate into a real life beach.
As guests entered the “resort”, instead of walking down this grass and gravel walkway,
guests sunk their toes into this beautiful white sand walkway flanked with palm trees, artistic sculptures, and couches. What a way to make an entrance.
Then, guests had a choice of heading left for the beach on the tennis court or heading right to the swanky pool area.
The beach area was completely transformed that there was not a trace of resemblance to a tennis court. Our hard-working crew spent days laying down 6” worth of sand to create an entire beach area.
After all the groundwork was laid for the sand, in comes all the fun stuff. Our client wanted an all white-colored theme with just a hint of blue. (Even the guests were asked to only wear white!)
Our crew first installed White Lamour Pipe and Drape along 1 side of the tennis court as a backdrop. We then used our tent frames and created 10×10 cabanas to provide shade over white love seats and end tables. White chaise lounges were setup intermittently between the cabanas for those who wanted to lay out in the sun. Small clusters of Pacific Blue beach chairs were placed throughout the beach to bring in a slight accent of color.
The host and hostess had their own 10×20 cabana that was slightly elevated and covered with white carpet.
Guests also had the option of lounging by the pool. Cabanas with love seats and end tables and wrought iron chaise lounges surrounded the pool.
Cocktail tables with our Taffeta Aqua linens and Antique Metal Garden chairs provided seating for the guests as they sat and ate sushi prepared by an L.A. sushi chef.
All in all, it was an amazing day at the South Beach Resort, without having to fly to South Beach Florida.
