When you’re located in California there is no end to the beautiful outdoor weddings you can attend. And yet, it doesn’t become something you get used to. Each wedding has its own unique atmosphere and each wedding party breathes new life to a venue. With the beginning of summer having just started, we are looking forward to assisting with numerous celebrations, and we’d like to kick off the season by sharing an event that simply took our breath away.
Both the ceremony and reception took place at a private residence covered with lush green grass and shady trees. White resin chair rentals lined the grass leading up to the wine barrel altar framed with sheer sand fabric.
Generous bunches of white hydrangeas, accompanied with assorted flowers and leaves, were delicately tied to chairs with ribbon.
During cocktail hour, guests mingled among several harvest table and wine barrel stations. One station displayed photos of the bride and groom with various cards for guests to write down ideas and advice for the newlyweds. Pieces of paper with some moss were cleverly placed in our deco rocks glass which was simple, decorative, and practical. Another station provided refreshments in clear glass beverage dispensers.
The reception area was truly a sight to behold- A 50’ x 90’ white frame tent with sand colored voile fabric swagging under the ceiling liner stood majestically on the verdant lawn. Several styles of chandeliers dangled charmingly from the ceiling, and beneath them, an Oak Parquet dance floor was installed for guests to dance the night away.
The rustic and floral decor extended throughout the entirety of the wedding. The reception tent was furnished with Harvest tables and surrounded by Hickory Crossback chairs. Tables were set with Ivory Crushed Iridescent table runners, Vanderbilt silverware, and Stolzle Crystal glassware.
Centerpieces included one magnificently tall floral arrangement on just a few guest tables, surrounded by many shorter arrangements of flowers and succulents.
One of our favorite details of the wedding was its elegant and sumptuous dessert table. In lieu of simply having a traditional wedding cake, a tiered pie pop stand stood atop a wine barrel bar with a smaller white cake and numerous cake pops beside it. Elegantly framed labels indicated what each dessert item was.
From the complete wedding ensemble to the smallest of details, this event realized a beautiful marriage of natural and unique elements. In a word- inspiring.
