How to Start Planning Your Event
When you think about throwing a party, you most likely do a quick inventory of what you have. You look in magazines and wish you had those plates, glasses, and everything else that matches.
Planning these events can take months, and to those that have never thrown an event for more than family, it can be very daunting. We are here to ease some of the stress by providing you with a timeline you can follow to make your event stress-free and successful.
How far in advance should you start planning? Most event planners suggest that you start planning anywhere from 6 months to a full year before the event, but not being a planner, when should you start? Depending on how large your event is and where you are holding the event, the number of guests are all things to factor in.

Party Planning for Holiday Events
For events close to holidays, you should book your rentals at least 2-3 months in advance to guarantee you get the product you are looking for. For weddings, especially during the wedding season, you should try to book no later than 6 months in advance. This way, you can find out which of the items you want are available in the quantities you need.
For tent rentals, the more advance notice the better. Depending on the size and location of the tent, you may need to go through a permitting process, so the more time the better.
If you start the planning early enough, it can really decrease the stress in planning your special event. This can avoid problems such as supply, delivery times, and venue requirements. Remember, we at Stuart Event Rentals are here to help you all along the way! Give us a call today if you have any questions, or to get your event started.
Your advice about how much stress can be reduced in event planning if you get started early was very helpful to me. By doing so, issues with supply, delivery, and venue requirements can be avoided. When planning a party for my son’s birthday the following month, I’ll keep this in mind. Since I want to throw him an outdoor party, I’ll make sure to use this advice to consider hiring tent rentals.
