How Many Will Be Attending?

Hosting a Thanksgiving party for your family is simple once you have everything planned in advance. A good place to start is with the head count.

If you have a big or small family, tables are most important. For example, you might be asking how to choose the right table size and shape for your event.

After picking out the table, the next party rentals to pick out are china, flatware, and glassware. We have an amazing selection of these items. Choose an item that will enhance the look of your Thanksgiving party!

You want to make sure you make your reservations well in advance so you can get the items you are looking for, and that delivery is available.

What Will Be Served?

Food should be the next in line. What is Thanksgiving without delicious food? You can prepare all the food for the party yourself or make it fun by asking your family members to each bring a dish. To change up your Thanksgiving meal, you can even have different themes for your meal.  This is a great way to try different types of food that each of your family members loves to eat.

If you are making most of the food, AllRecipes.com has some great recipes for Thanksgiving. They have delicious recipes from asparagus with cranberries and pine nuts to delicious pumpkin pie. If you are serving a lot of family members, we have rentals that will make that easier.

We carry great chafers that can hold and warm a lot of food, beverage dispensers for your sweet tea or punch, a cake stand for that delicious pumpkin pie, and trays to hold your succulent turkey. These items will surely help you hold and serve your scrumptious food to satisfy your family’s appetites.

Activities & Entertainment

Lastly, wondering what to do after dinner? A great way to enjoy your family’s presence is to go around the table and say what you are thankful for.  This is a great way to encourage and be encouraged by your loved ones.

Another great way to incorporate each family member is to have a competition with each individual family. Each family can play different games such as charades, board games, karaoke, football, or any other games that will have each family team participate in. Keep score and whichever family has the highest score wins!

Thanksgiving is a great time for you and your family members to enjoy each other’s company and be thankful for each other. Although there are a lot of preparations involved in planning your Thanksgiving gathering, make sure to have fun this holiday season and take time to enjoy it.  The planning and tasks are important, but enjoying time with your loved ones is priceless.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING COVID-19

The Stuart Rental Company’s highest priority is the health and safety of our team members, clients, and their families. Therefore, we are taking this opportunity to set forth how we are managing our business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will continue to update our policies as we learn more from the medical and scientific community, including new information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We encourage everyone to frequently refer to the CDC website for the latest on how best to contain and mitigate the impact of the virus.

OUR SHOWROOM IS OPEN

LIMITED HOURS: 10:00AM to 2:00PM, MON-FRI

CLEANING AND SANITATION

We have enhanced the process and increased the frequency of our equipment cleaning, spending extra attention to regularly contacted surfaces.

  • – We are using the same chemicals on our equipment as hospitals use to disinfect their surfaces.
  • – In addition, we continue to launder all linens and disinfect dishware, silverware, and glassware with high-temp commercial dishwashers, industrial sanitizers and chemicals.
  • – These processes are done in compliance with the latest California state and federal CDC guidance to ensure our products are COVID-19-free following their cleaning.
  • – We are cleaning our showroom, offices, warehouse and common areas with greater frequency using hospital-grade disinfectants, paying special attention to frequently touched surfaces.
  • – We have curtailed all non-essential employee travel to minimize the risk of spreading the virus to our staff and among the general population and we have instructed employees who feel ill to stay home and consult their healthcare provider.

 

DELIVERY AND PICKUP PROTOCOL: 10:00AM to 2:00PM, MON-FRI

We are keeping our teams current on all recommendations and updates from the CDC as well as instituting new safety precautions for the pickup and delivery of any product.

  • – We have equipped our delivery and pickup teams with masks, nitrile gloves, hand sanitizer, and EPA-approved cleaners/disinfectants specifically recommended by the CDC in its Environmental Cleaning and Disinfection Recommendations.
  • – During pickups and deliveries, we wipe all products with all-purpose cleaning solution and a disinfecting cleanser.
  • – Nitrile gloves are carefully disposed of after every pickup.
  • – We have instructed our staff to follow CDC-recommended social distancing guidelines, including avoiding shaking hands and using proper hygiene etiquette including hand washing.

We are committed to doing what is necessary to curtail the impact of COVID 19 and will therefore update these policies as the CDC and local and state health officials issue more guidance.
