Tented Backyard Wedding
Being in the event industry is so great because I get to see a lot of different venues that I normally would never see in my lifetime.. ever! Just recently, I was at in install for one of our tents in what I would say is the biggest backyard I have ever seen. I’ve been to some really nice backyards before.. but this one beats out all the rest. Huge lawn areas, a rock fountain, pagodas scattered throughout.. and event a koi pond!
The ceremony took place under this 30 x 80 tent with a red carpet aisle runner and a stage covered with red astroturf.
After the ceremony, the guests all enjoyed cocktail hour throughout the backyard. We set up some small canopies to provide some shade for the food stations on the lawn area.
There were some tables scattered throughout the lower level of the backyard that you needed to climb some stairs to get down to. One of the guys went down to scatter rose petals on the cocktail tables, and when he came back, he was all sweating and out of breath!
Needless to say, the guests not only enjoyed some delicious food while celebrating with the bride and groom, but they were also able to get in some good exercise that weekend.
