Stained-glass windows, hanging chandeliers, fresco paintings on the walls… Park Hill Chapel in San Francisco was the perfect church to get married in. This wedding was extra special because it not only was the first wedding to take place at the chapel after it was newly renovated, but after the ceremony was over, the chapel was transformed to accommodate guests for the reception as well. The Stuart Rental Company was honored to provide all of the party rentals for this elegant wedding.
On a beautiful Saturday in July, we brought in Gold Chiavari chairs to set-up for a 175 person wedding that took place in this stunning church. In addition to all the ceremony chairs, we also brought in all the round tables, linens, china, flatware, and glassware to be put in to storage, ready and waiting to be used for the reception.
The bride and groom’s colors were a plum/purple and gold with orange flowers. The florist created beautiful aisle arrangements with orange orchids and purple mini calla lilies for every other aisle. To add to this look, we added our French Lavender Organza Sashes that accented the chairs and flowers beautifully. Everything looked perfect.
While the ceremony was taking place, all of the vendors were getting ready for our next big challenge: We had 1 hour after the ceremony to completely transform this room from the ceremony layout to the reception layout, while guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and cocktails in the garden area.
It was a very tight window of time, but all the vendors pulled together, and we were able to finish the changeover flawlessly. The reception looked elegant with the Gabrielle Damask Eggplant and Lamour Gold linens on all the guest tables and head table Our Infinity Gold china and Acropolis Gold flatwarebrought more accents of gold to each place settings. Our Majesty crystal stemware added to the elegance of each table setting. To complete the look, gold candelabras with glowing candles added to the ambience of this venue.
